Emmanuel Omale: Pastor accused of laundering money for Magu speaks again

– Pastor Emmanuel Omale said the stories linking him with Ibrahim Magu are lies from a pit of hell.

– The Abuja-based self-acclaimed prophet, however, said he will never deny Magu because he is one of his sons .

– Omale, who likened his trial to that of Jesus, said the Magu link has given him more publicity boost on social media.

The presiding pastor of the Divine Hand of God Prophetic Ministry, Emmanuel Omale, has vowed not to jettison Ibrahim Magu because the suspended EFCC chairman is one of his “sons.” Magu is being grilled over allegations bordering on insubordination and corruption following a recent memo by the attorney-general of the federation, Abubakar Malami, indicting the suspended EFCC boss.

Among top charges, Presidential Committee on Audit of Recovered Assets (PCARA), a retired justice Ayo Salami-led panel, is probing Magu for illegally buying properties in Dubai.

Omale has been fingered as one of the co-conspirators helping Magu to launder recovered funds to oversea, though the pastor has denied link with the embattled anti-graft car.

Addressing his church congregation in a sermon, the Abuja-based pastor said though he does not launder money for Magu, he would not leave the suspended EFCC boss to his fate because he is one of the Muslims who come to his church “for advice, for counselling.”

Omale, who described the allegation against him as a lie from the pit of hell, said the Magu link has given him a publicity boost.

“You see what is going on, on social media. Listen, I don’t launder money for anybody, it is a lie from the pit of hell, I have sons all over the world and I pray for them. They call me for advice, for counselling and I pray for them and beyond,” Omale said.

“This altar is for everybody. It is for Muslims, it is for pagans and Ibrahim Magu is not the only Muslim that you used to come here, sleep here, talk to God and they have result.

“My face was everywhere – publicity. No doubt about it, I can’t deny him like the way i cannot deny all of you,” Omale said.

The Abuja pastor also likened his trail to that of Jesus, adding that he is a prophet of liberation.
